Rpc07
I'm new to making my own ro/di water. Do I have to use cold water or can I use Luke warm water so it doesn't take as long to heat after? Link to comment

AZDesertRat
Cold water only. Never try to blend or temper hot and cold. Remember being in the shower and someone flushed the toilet or started the washer? You got your tush scalded. Membranes can be damaged by water over 113 degrees which isn't all that hot. Besides that, cold water is more dense or less viscous and treats better so lower RO only TDS and longer DI life. Link to comment
Rpc07
Thanks for the info. I'll just be making water earlier then needed to give it time to come up to temp with a heater. Link to comment
