toddseimer
No tanks now, I've had a 24g 12g reef and have been out of the hobby for a few years since kids. I have seen these ecosphere's that are self contained ecosystems and was wondering if I could create something similar. I want it for our Chiropractic office front desk. How often would I have to do water changes if I just had some micro algae, few hermits and few shrimp? Our office is only open 3 days a week and I'm looking for low maintanance, hence the self contained eco system desire. Also what tanks do you guys recommend, something with a top to reduce evaporation. Thoughts? Link to comment
toddseimer
So today I found an older betta cube 1 gallon without filtraion. Can I use this cube without any filtration or water movement to house a shrimp, some macro algae and a sand substrate? Link to comment
Newstead
Check out Brandon429. He is the guru of micro tanks - but I think he uses an airhose for even his smallest. Link to comment

_Zoom
Not saltwater. But a planted wabi kusa shrimp tank would be cool. Link to comment
