The 301 perfromed way better and the cad lights skimmer seems very touchy every time I dump the skimmer cup I have to adjust the water lvl. But its so much smaller than the 301 and my sump doesn't seem so crowded. I'm getting a package from CGA can't wait I will post picks when it shows up Link to comment

Jackal_Knight Posted December 8, 2014 Author Share Posted December 8, 2014 update, tanks is doing good i just got a new pico aquariums low iron with custom overflow 24x16x16 its pretty sweet but im trying to figure out how to go about upgrading since my stand i just shy of 24in since i rounded the edges. so im debating just nailing a larger piece of wood on top or ripping the old top off and building a new one. Jackal_Knight Posted May 19, 2015 Author Share Posted May 19, 2015 Thanks PilgOre, I got a new job a while back so ive been very busy and haven't had much time for the tank. Also my heater exploded in my tank a few months back and I thought I lost everything. Everything made it luckily, my LPS took about a week to start opening back up again. All my sps bleached and I lost a few very nice pieces, the montis came back in some small spots only. After all that, and me only doing water changes every month, also the skimmer air line plugged and I've been to busy to clean it so I stopped running it. The tank looks great lots of new growth. So heres my tank at about 2 years old now. Link to comment
