I used a flash, which helps. Other than that, only a little exposure editing, but literally nothing else, not even a crop :)

Good point.

It is a an old Vivitar manual flash. Manual metering and what not, but it gets the job done. With my macro lens, and the clear non-curved glass, I haven't had any glares/flatness.

huh, seems to be working well. Ive never had any luck using flashes--that's a whole nuther thing within itself

It just takes practice, the built in flash useless compared to an external one though :D
