omgomgomg The angler is so cute!

The tank looks so clean! I'm loving the open sand :)
Here's some names, I'll start with the first algae close-up:
1. Unk, it was growing on a frag plug
2. Titan Algae (Titanophora sp.)
3. Red Gracilaria
4. Fauchea
5. Yellow Eucheuma (E. spinosum)
6. Fluffy Puffy/Fluffy Tip?-what was the common name we came up with? (Cymopoloa barbata)
7. "
8. Halimeda sp.-I found a pic on google of the exact one, put it was just labeled Halimeda sp.

55gal: Reef - 10g: Leaffish Macro-Algae Tank - 3g: Pico Reef - 1.6g: Mini Macro Tank

I swear yoshii you turn every thread into a chat box lol!!!

Lack of research is the biggest down fall of people in this hobby.

Still acclimating(very very slowly) because I'm afraid of killing him. He'll be in there soon

I acclimate inside the tank. Float bag 20 minutes then add water a few mL at a time every 5 minutes. Takes a long time but I don't want to take my chances with him.

Drip acclimate. All you need is a water flow regulation valve and a siphon hose.

Not if the drip is set at a fast rate.

I know how to drip and I have the tubing and everything, I just choose not to. I know I'm weird, but this is the way I've been doing it for 10 years and it works for me.

There are a lot of pods, but I'm not sure he'll eat them. I'm getting some live shrimp tomorrow though.

He doesn't have a name. It's been a curse for me to name fish since I was a kid so I don't do it anymore.

I'll get a vid of him eating soon

Why I never name fish, they die like the minute I name them almost. So I pretend to not have emotional attachment so they live! LMAO funny we have the same taboo!

Omg I thought I was the only one!! Glad to know I'm not the only one, but at the same time, it's such a shame we're both cursed.
