Wjcastiglione
OK - my 29g bio cube has ich across all three fish. It has come to my attention that the only way to remedy/resolve this in the future is to have a QT tank. Here is the issue: I live in a small 3rd floor, 1 bedroom apartment There is no elevator I have no RO unit, so all water is purchased at LFS. With that being said, the only location I have for a QT tank is either: My Bedroom (not preferred) My living room next to my display tank Thoughts: Is there any way I can do a hideaway QT tank? (wont fit under biocube) I'd prefer a sump - I find this easier to set up, and less of an eyesore Anyway I can make a frag tank/QT tank at the same time? I mean - if I have to treat my fish - I obviously can't have coral in there. My current idea: 20 Gallon long on wooden stand w/ divider 10 gallon sump underneath black PVC no skimmer Fuge But what do I do with this tank when it's not in use? It's a super eye sore. And I'd prefer not to have two tanks up and running at all times in my small 650 sq ft apartment - it's just two sets of water changes, two sets of things to worry about, higher electric bill, etc. I'm really at a loss here.
