frankdr
Here are some 'before' pictures - been looking like this for months I come back from a week on the road and see this Is this bad? good? ideas what's causing this sudden change? The only variables are 1. Been ramping lights up about 2% per week. 2. Added a new fish (Royal Gramma) to replace a departed fish (Damsel) Link to comment

frankdr
Test your params, KH, Calcium, and since you've been gone be sure to test salinity. Mark, The only noticeable change in water params was the nitrate levels have dropped from about 12 to near zero, which is probably due to more macros together with a decrease in livestock. Hit them with a turkey baster. Ours weren't looking good and we started doing that and they perked right up. I'll give it a try - certainly can't hurt... Link to comment
