To see where this started, head over to http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/331321-dixies-mixed-reef-turned-pony-palace/ . Here's what it looks like so far. I've got more live rock I'll be putting in from the sump of my reef tank, just taking it sorta slow so I dont start a mini cycle in that tank. This is a standard 29 gal. Link to comment

Angel<3Nanos
Do it! I love my seahorses! Darn it dixie. Now im looking at tanks haha If i do it, its your fault. Ive got peer pressured. So now the question is .... 11.33g or 24.09g cube? Hmmmm. Link to comment
dixie reefer
Hey! I'll take the blame haha. I'd do the 24 cube, as long as it's at least 18" tall. Link to comment

dixie reefer
It's pushing it. They need a minimum depth of 18" because most of them get large, they need the room to dance up and down the tank, and it also helps prevent gas bubble problems in the seahorses. Link to comment

Angel<3Nanos
But thinking dawrfs are waay too picky on food choices with a lifespan of 1 year. So ive found a bigger cube Link to comment

Im sure it wont look as nice as Zia's, but ill try lol Link to comment
dixie reefer
I'm sure, in time, it will look like Zia's. He has a pretty sweet setup, his ponies are spoiled for sure! (Cough cough) I wish he'd bring his butt down here and bring me some macros! (Cough cough) lol Took some pics this morning. I think I'm going to name this girl Diva. She's always gotta be up in my business and she also went from yellow to black within 2 days of having her. Still need a name for this little girl. She used to have cirri but now she doesn't. No idea of what happened there. Delilah being a fatty, looking for more food. Pony tails! Link to comment
