My rear sup modification sugestions

I have a Tru-Vu 25 Gal acrylic all in one nano cube which I've had for 8 years. i just brought it back to life form being down for about a year. I made some new investments in hardware. The one thing I really wanted to do was invest in a ATO (Tunze Nano Osmolator 3152) but the way my rear sump was designed was nearly impossible because of the single media basket.

So, I made some modification taking out the original large media basket out and replacing it with one I bought from http://mediabaskets.com/ it wasn't made for my tank so I had to modify that by cutting it down to fit.

My Question: What besides the ATO harware should I do with this added room? Fuge?

I have no idea! However, can I ask how did you cut the Intank media basket - ok, I guess I have no idea what one would need to cut acrylic.
