blasterman
Here's some comparison shots I made last night with the full series of 4 reflectors Ledil makes for Bridgelux Rectangles. More commonly called the 'Brooke' series. I shot them all on manual at the same settings on my dSLR using a 950b Bridgelux as a reference. The metal ruler is 18.25 inches in width. I'm exactly 24" from the wall to the LED die. From top to bottom: No Reflector Brooke - W Brooke - M Brooke - S Barbara - S Oddly there's very little difference between the Brooke-M and Brooke-S. The Barbara-S is tough to photograph because it concentrates much more light to a smaller cone. It's a much larger / longer reflector so it's able to corral far more spill into a tighter package. A cool reflector for specialty lighting apps, but not much use for reefing. I had one and just wanted to include it. Link to comment
MeepNand
Brook S looks nice. And the Barbara could be used for deep tanks, right? Link to comment
jedimasterben
Looks like even the wide Brooke will punch very deep while keeping good coverage. Link to comment
