icedearth15324
Just to give a quick recap. I've been in fishkeeping for about 10 years now. I've been doing saltwater for about 2 months now. When I first put together my Fluval Spec V, I knew it would only be temporary. I knew my clowns would quickly outgrow the small tank, as well as my corals would become too large. Here's the summary of my Fluval: http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/317434-fluval-spec-v-my-first-nanopico/ I got lucky and was actually given a JBJ Nano Cube 12 gallon tank, so I began getting parts to make the tank work. I was originally going to wait a little longer, but some issues at my house are making my current tank location very bad, so the sooner I move it, the better. So I have a JBJ 12 gallon Nano Cube DX. I ordered the Steve's LEDs retrofit kit for it, and it is amazing. Here's the equipment I have for it so far: -Cobalt Aquatics MJ-900 -Finnex 50-watt heater w/ digital display -Hydor Koralia Nano -InTank media basket -Purigen -Chemi-Pure Elite -Filter Floss -Steve's LEDs retrofit kit -10 lbs Live sand -9 lbs live rock And here's the FTS: Within the next couple weeks once the tank is cycled, I will begin moving things over from my Fluval to this tank. So far I am really liking the way this tank is. Link to comment

icedearth15324
Due to doing some renovations at my house, I had to dismantle my other tank sooner than I initially wanted to. So I have transferred over all the contents from my Fluval to my Nano Cube, along with some of my live rock and a small amount of my sand. Been keeping an eye on parameters every 12 hours or so to make sure there aren't any spikes. Here's the FTS shortly after adding everything in. The corals are still pissed off though. Link to comment
icedearth15324
Here's an updated FTS: I've been very happy with the LED kit from Steve's LEDs. I've seen greater coral growth and reaction than I did with my old system. Link to comment
