Hello everybody!

 

This is my first contact with the community's Nano Reef.

 

I would like to share with all my Nano.

 

Here is a little history of the tank .....

 

Setup:

 

Mounting - November 2007

 

65 X 45 X 45 to 34 gallon

Sump 50 X 45 X 26

 

Skimmer - DIY

Calcium Reactor - DIY

Kalk Reactor - DIY

 

Lighting:

 

1 - Geisemman - Pure Actinic

1 - Geisemman - Actinic +

1 - Hagen - 17000 K

1 - Hagen - Actinic

 

Substrate: Sand Beach

 

Rock - Sanzibar + Natural Rock - Grarapari (Brazil)

 

Corals: SPS - LPSs - Softs

 

Fish

 

2 - Ocelaris

1 - Yellow coris - Wrasse

1 - Yellow clown Goby

2 - Fire fish Goby

1 - Yellow tail Damsel

1 - Pseudocromis Fridmani

1 - Hector Goby

2 - Neon Goby

Another point that makes me very happy is that I'm getting results with DIY equipment.

Great tank. Your balance of life is awesome. You'll need a bigger tank before you know it with all that coral growth. Lol

Yes, but they are small fish and have a skimmer that

can eliminate much of the organic matter.

I'm thinking of a new project, but while not realized,

I think I'll have to prune some corals.

I thought the same when I fist read the description but obviously the tank is thriving.

Great coral growth! Are there many reefs in Brazil?

 

Yes, not as much as the USA and Europe, but we have good

aquarium here.

 

The greatest difficulty in developing the aquarium in Brazil

is the high price of equipment and animals.
