Land0
About two months ago I dove into this incredibly interesting and beautiful hobby. I have been an addict ever since. So when the actinic in my stock PC lighting died out after about only a month.. it became increasingly clear I had a perfectly good reason to make the switch to LED's! I immediately started researching what to do by studying some very helpful threads on this site. All the info you need is here.. and after ordering all the required parts, I successfully was able to mimic other builds with little to none DIY experience. I'd like to thank C jerome's thread particularly for the detailed parts list he provided. These babbbbys are briighhhht!!! some parts Table saw plus pliers on the heat sink gutted daylight PC bulb, this is my light I used for two days while I put together the hood... looks very professional doesn't it? Dremeled vents result Still waiting on deal extreme for the drivers to light up these guys(UV's) Link to comment
evilc66
Getting there. Are you going to add a grill to the fan opeing just to polish it off? Don't forget to add it to the Project List in the lighting forum when you are done. Link to comment
