10" Red Devil Posted October 3, 2005 Man buy a R/O unit they arent they expensive and you may find that you only need an R/O My TDS is like almost 275, but with just a barebones R/O it drops it to 3. The R/O I bought was from my lfs and it was only $60, saves me so much time and embarrasment. I mean I couldnt imagine buying that much water in all those individual jugs like that. You dont have to wonder if the Distilled water is really as pure as they say it is, you know like did they change the cartridge on the schedule they say they did?! B16A2NR Posted October 4, 2005 Why not buy the 5 gallon home depot misc. buckets and fill them for 25 cents/ gallon in front of your supermarket? I use to buy distilled in the store for $.69/gallon till I realized I was being ripped off and could fill up infront of it. Now I bought a 5 stage RO 110gpd unit off a Reef Central member for $80 shipped! There are tons on there. Quote Link to comment
