Yup! My xenia grows the same way but thats why I love them! They are so prolific, I think they beat shrooms and zoas in the ability to spread thru a tank

I hear ya on that stinkin xenia growin way too fast. I cut off stalks of my xenia every couple weeks and just throw it away. I would just get rid of the xenia altogether but my gf likes it so much. Good luck keepin it trimmed
