My tank is not a nano but I come here for the great information and tips as well as the DIY section.
The only corals I have at present are the ones that came on my live rock as well as 3 gorgonion frags my local FS gave me when I bought some live rock last time.
Hope you like the image. It shows my homemade surface skimmer cockeyed need some suction cups on that baby.
It is made from old CDr case cut in half and acrylic siliconed to it. Slotted it and stuck it up there. Works great when level.
