Green Shat Posted May 22, 2005 ive been very interested in getting one of those for the same reasons you did. can you tell me how much it cost, and fill me in on as many details as you can - thanks Quote Link to comment
Fant Posted May 22, 2005 its 190 at marinedepot... its fully programable.. u can run it as little as 1 second every 99 hours 99 minutes or something such as that.. i havent had time to program it yet to actually start dosing.. but i did a few test runs with plain water and i ran it at 4 seconds on.. after 50 doses the average was about 4ml.. there is a slight innaccuracey when dealing with quick dose times because if the pressure wheel stops horizontally u lose about a second of pressure. But i dont think its a very big issue.. the one thing i was dissapointed with was that it didnt come with any tubing or the nifty outlet mount that they offer with the Niveaumat.. for now im using regular airline tubing.. if your goal is to dose very small amounts you will also need a check valve on the outlet side. so far im pleased with it.. and expect it to perform well. Green Shat Posted May 22, 2005 thank you for the depth of your response, very helpful - i will keep this product in mind, i want to look at the Niveaumat now that you mention it. I agree its frusterating that these products cant come with the small things like tubing and mounting, it would def increase sales Quote Link to comment
Fant Posted May 23, 2005 the niveaumat is for top off.. it runs from a float switch wont be useful for dosing bionic. you could use the niveaumat for a nilsen style kalk reactor but not for bionic. Quote Link to comment
