I did much the same thing but built a small aluminum bracket to hold the pendant rather than hanging it. It sits over my 5.5 and does perfectly fine with a small 88 computer fan at like 6 volts (quiet). check out my gallery for some bad pictures of it. How do you think the 20K's are? I went 14K ushio and love it but it could stand some actinic supplementing.
