you cycled without rock?

well to be honest, I stated it that way so i didn't get flamed. I did cycle it with love rock and live sand. I had one fish....The dottyback, that hitched a ride in my 8lb rock, the lfs owner checked it well, but he missed the dottyback. He has been in there since the beginning of the tank. It is almost a week old now, he is doing fine, and there is no ammonia, and no nitrite, small amount of nitrate (as usual) and Ph is on the money. I am a very lucky man! BTW the clown wasn't added until i was sure that my tank was stable.
