how long have you had the sponge. i would love to have one but i don't think i could keep it alive.

Had sponge for about 7 months now. I feed it Phyto Feast once a day, at night when all the lights have gone off. The sponge actually sits in the direct path of the filter and in the shade, because its a filter feeder and it does well with little or no light. I took it out to take the picture.
