you know i read a study done about fish growing to fit the size of where they live and they did an experiment with trout in a pipe. The ran water through the pipe constantly and always fed it. anyway long story short, the trout grew in that pipe and grew to fit it alright.... he had a pipe as a belt.

Hah! One of my Ember Tetras decided to try that once. He swam up the return line a good ways when the filter was turned off.
