saltwatercoral Posted March 15, 2011 Man! I am seeing more and more of the specs and I lovem! I am trying to get my 45g cube up and running and now seeing all these pics I want to get one of these as well! Quote Link to comment
streetsong Posted March 15, 2011 Thanks! I think the spec is a nice pico setup- It's like a mini biocube! Best of luck with your 45 gal. cube. Quote Link to comment
saltwatercoral Posted March 15, 2011 Thanks! U 2, I would like to add a pico when I have more experience! I hear a pico/smaller nano is much harder and less forgiving for mistakes and or fluctuations. I am new so I need all the help I can get! The Spec is real modern and nice looking! I would really like to get one in the near future, maybe for the bed room or game room! Is it hard to take care of? Any suggestions on taking care of one? Quote Link to comment
saltwatercoral Posted March 15, 2011 What wine is that, it s a red but what! It really goes with the painting! Absolutely awesome! Quote Link to comment
streetsong Posted March 15, 2011 As long as you can keep the salinity consistent, have a good pulse on all other water chemistry and not overfeed, you'll be just fine with a pico. The wine is LAN Rioja from Spain- Well balanced with ripe rspberry, vanilla, boot leather, and great acidity. It pairs perfectly with my pico! Quote Link to comment
streetsong Posted March 16, 2011 Nope, its a Fluval Spec. 2 gal. glass tank with 2 rear chambers. The light that comes with it is not powerful enough. I just ordered this to replace the stock light- http://www.adana-usa.com/index.php?main_page=afa_product_info&products_id=451 Quote Link to comment
