miami13 Posted February 24, 2011 thanks very much yoshii - tank was set up in august of 2009 and the scoly was one of the very first corals added. when open for feeding, cant seem to get enough food in there to satisfy it - thanks again.... Quote Link to comment
warhol1 Posted February 24, 2011 What type of lighting you got on there? I have no idea the lighting or flow needed for a scoly but always wanted one Quote Link to comment
miami13 Posted February 25, 2011 warhol - my lighting is a current usa dual satellite fixture with two 18w bulbs. like most on here with the 3 gal pico, i have an ac70 filter for flow. hope that helps.... Quote Link to comment

miami13 Posted February 25, 2011 thanks very much brandon and once a week i spot feed frozen mysis shrimp to anyone that opens up - about an hour later, i follow that up with a 50% water change - thats really about it... Quote Link to comment
brandon429 Posted February 25, 2011 its working, keeping nice biomass without making excess waste and any of the corals that don't open up are able to take in suspended compounds and food items that dislodged off the mysis that may be in their preferred size range. I noticed there is zero hair algae or green primary growth in the corners and crevices, do you remove it or is the system that clean? Quote Link to comment
