PirateJing Posted August 5, 2010 ah, no its not . i couldnt do anything to really help bring out the colors. Quote Link to comment
krakoski Posted August 5, 2010 it may be a little bleached, but i have one similar to that with blue orange and yellow highlights, but its pastel shades Quote Link to comment
PirateJing Posted August 5, 2010 mm the white you see is really light yellow in person. Quote Link to comment
joe yazz :D Posted August 5, 2010 its not bleached. actually might divide soon. i hate it when people call stuff bleached it makes you feel stupid. my ric actually split for me when i wasnt watching the ph for a mouth. and the ph droped to 7.2 thats right. 7.2. nothing died. at all. fiction101 Posted August 5, 2010 It looks like you got ripped off. It looks pure white in that pic. Quote Link to comment
Gerber77 Posted August 5, 2010 That is definitely bleached, it can still grow and split while being bleached but the true colors will not show. Give it some shade and some foods a couple days a week and the vibrant colors will bounce back. Good luck. Quote Link to comment
joe yazz :D Posted August 5, 2010 the cam hes takeing the photo with is making the yellow white. i know becuse my yellow polyps look white but then i use my good camera it turns out yellow Quote Link to comment
PirateJing Posted August 5, 2010 thank you joe yazz. you are very correct. the camera cannot capture the true color due to the metal halide. the white is yellow and the ric is not bleached. Its not even white in person . i will find a better camera then to show you Quote Link to comment
Dizzle21 Posted August 5, 2010 The camera isn't catching the yellow because theres no zooxanthellae because its bleached. Quote Link to comment
