Free to Jacobnano! You know, like the samples at Costco :)

That is actually pretty big, especially when you picked it up, usually they shrink a little when you move them....haha

I dunno for sure, but the guy I got them from started with one a couple years ago and he probably had at least 20+ med and large ones in his tank. Pretty good if you ask me. I'd cut one if I wasn't so scared of it melting. ;p

That seems pretty good for yumas! Yea that would be a real bummer, but if it did live totally worth it. How many of these did you get, just two?

No, I have 5 large ones and 1 smaller and 3 or 4 babies. I got all I could afford. lol

So it looks like the general public will be waiting till you have a ton of them before you start selling haha?

Nope, that's not gonna happen. I'll be selling them very soon. In my experience holding onto really nice corals and being greedy has a way of back firing. I'll probably keep one or two to see if I can get them to propagate. But I need to sell them so I can buy more awesome corals. Its an endless cycle. ;]

Ahh thats true. That is probably why I wouldn't be an amazingly profitable business owner :P That is good you are keeping at least one, it would be neat to see if they can be fragged.

Random question, have you ever seen a rock anemone that is blue? I am thinking a combo of red, green, purple, blue, orange, pink etc. would be amazing.

I've never seen purple or blue. I haven't seen any true pink either, just orange mixed with white so they look kinda pink. I had one before that was light violet but it quickly turned brownish under high light. I've only ever seen variations of green, brown, white, and orange. Now I have had green ones with purple mouth rings before. And a friend of mine had an orange one with an almost black center.

Dang, that is too bad about the violet ones. I remember seeing those. So looks like orange, green, and white are the colors for me. Hmmmmm.....I am mentally designing what my order would include haha.

I wonder why bright light would make an anemones go from purple to brown, you would think the opposite would occur.

Well you know some corals come in light and then when the zoanthellae become healthy sometimes they look prettier sometimes not. Some corals look prettier when they are a little bleached than when they are healthy. I remember when I first got into the hobby I loved the way bleached anemones looked. lol Snow white flower anemones I think are the only ones that are naturally bright white.

I guess that is true, it is a bummer though. Haha nice, yea I thought a lot of things were cool when I started, bleh noob mistakes. Yea! They are, and I like that because usually white = bad in aquariums, but it adds contrast. Also, your tang (I believe? it is purple) seems to love sneaking into the pictures on your site :P

Yeah, my fish were very curious about this yuma, they were sure some algae or food was around it. lol

Haha they were thinking they had never seen a yuma so large! I am browsing your site and I keep refreshing and the numbers on the left side are increasing each time haha!

I'm a little worker bee. Gonna call it quits in a sec. I still have more to put up but I'm dead tired.
