my guess would be some kind of rock boring sponge...can't be too sure though...the pic is just too far away.

They retract at night if that helps any. Where ever you see them, there's a hole. They almost act like zoos, they even have a center but I can't find them anywhere......I dunno.

I don't know, but I would love to have some of your zoos!
