Algae growing on the side, skewed vision of the tank, etc.

to have something so unique means a little effort in cleaning schedules. dang and i thought i made a pretty sweet little system

You will have extra maintenance due to the water flowing on the outside, but it is a sweet little system. Nice work.

I like it. Are you planning on putting a few mangrovs in the system. That would look great with the bamboo pot.

so its two and half gallons 0ne gallon viewing area and one and a half gallon sump. the wood bowl is 12" diameter and the glass bowl is 11". i dont have any clue what i want to stock it with and still have not set up a light system yet

Its actually freshwater it is rock sticking out and its fountian like as the water pumps out through the rock

looks cool.. and it cant be much harder than constantly cleaning salt creep off a salt tank. Have u considered any stone or glass on the bottom?
