travisurfer Posted November 21, 2009 That live rock doesn't have much coralline on it... How old is this tank? Quote Link to comment
violinist Posted November 21, 2009 19 hours? Water, sand and inhabitants are transplants from an established 100g reef. I'm getting a couple more pieces of LR. There's a fts elsewhere. One piece of this lr is covered in coraline, the others more or less naked till it spreads. Quote Link to comment
BobbyL1212 Posted November 21, 2009 actually it's condylactis gigantea, if i had to guess. entacmeas (bubble tips) dont have red pedal disks. Quote Link to comment
nanoreefnate Posted November 21, 2009 seabae with a red base. IME seabae's are super hardy. i've had mine ever since i had my NC12 (which was only 5 months old) and its now 2 years later and its about quadrupled in size and survived thru 3 tank upgrades. Quote Link to comment
PoopCola Posted November 21, 2009 http://www.fishlore.com/profile-condyanemone.htm Im almost positive it's a condy. Quote Link to comment
BobbyL1212 Posted November 25, 2009 yeah I agree. The red pedal disk gives it away. Quote Link to comment
murjan Posted December 27, 2009 i had similar one, i wasnt sure which nem is it even after i took it out for over growing the whole sand bed, i liked to believe its a sabae. if its the same i dont recommend keeping it in a nano, it will soon overtake alot more space than planned. looks like the color is light, mine got a nice dark tan after a couple of months of keeping. i loved it. violinist Posted December 27, 2009 This guy found a new home about 6 weeks ago. Was just more of a hassle than I expected/was told/wanted to deal with... Quote Link to comment
