Mushroom?

Looks like a bubble coral. What color is it when the normal lights are on?

definitely not a mushroom

feeder tentacles lead me to believe it is some kind of lps

perhaps a euphylia

or

plate coral

reminiscent of a bubble coral as stated ^

prod it gently with a soft object (giggity)

if it retracts into a skeleton it is a LPS bubble coral perhaps.
