StevieT Posted August 12, 2008 haha, the firefish and him are buds, they sleep together at night. Quote Link to comment

StevieT Posted August 12, 2008 haha, wow. Pretty close. The YWG looks dead when sleeping. I don't see it much but I was here late last night working on the acrlyic buisness. It is pretty cute, the Purple firefish rests it's head on the watchmans back in this hole in a rock under my frogspawn. I will try a picture some time. Quote Link to comment
Nick's Reef Posted August 12, 2008 He's so cute, I saw a tiny (1 1/2") inch one at the lfs today. made me wish i had one but with a yasha I can't but maybe my mom'll get one for her tank. Quote Link to comment
dahliaheartsyou Posted August 12, 2008 oh, stevie, did you get him when he was little or bigger? if I get one, I know after a while they can develop grey stripes and turn female... and I feel bad, but I don't really like the females... Quote Link to comment
StevieT Posted August 12, 2008 funny, i was just looking back at the first pages of my thread. Purchased him October 8th, 2007. He was a little smaller, not too much. First picture of him: Quote Link to comment
dahliaheartsyou Posted August 12, 2008 OMGZ! so cute! i love those fish, they have to be one of my favs. just cuz that frog-face! do you notice him burrowing and knocking over any rock-work? Quote Link to comment
StevieT Posted August 13, 2008 oh yeah, he is a cutie. NO, he doesn't burrow much. He found a crevas to hide in but is out in the open at most of the time. He picks at the sand every now and then but only the top layer out in the open, never by rock. All of which I appreciate! Quote Link to comment
121a Posted August 20, 2008 great fish, i have one also, though it does not come out like yours does. Quote Link to comment
StevieT Posted August 20, 2008 Mine is very social, he loves coming out and loves to explore the camera. Maybe it is used to people since the tank is in my office. When I go home, my fish hate me, but at my office they love everyone. I think it is just used to the exposure Quote Link to comment
