TJ_Burton Posted July 16, 2008 The porites host for those christmas tree worms looks pretty much toast. But the worms look great nevertheless. Those worms are filter feeders so make sure to does some plankton(zoo/phyto)for them! Quote Link to comment
Capelaundry Posted July 17, 2008 +1 ^....still it's a great looking piece...I haven't seen that many X-MAS tree worms (and different colors) on one rock in awhile. Quote Link to comment
rosier1 Posted July 17, 2008 Thanks everyone. It was at the aquarium store for about a month before I bought them and they still appear to be doing great. I do feed them phytoplankton a couple times a week. Quote Link to comment
Christo Posted July 17, 2008 i hope it recovers well. i must agree the porites look to be in bad shape (as far as i can see) and from what ive read is that when/if they die the worms soon follow, we have some of these at J&L's here but i dare not buy any ive read that they are pretty hard to care for, and expensive. very pretty though and something different from the norm Quote Link to comment
