very nice layout, but you still managed to make it look kind of crappy. more rock, nicer looking substrate, better looking light fixture and less visible equipment would improve this pico 100%.

Try one larger rock. Try a smaller return. No need for PVC on a tank that small. Maybe just tubing? Have fun!
