PurpleUP Posted December 1, 2007 Tx! Still needs a clam, bird's nest coral, and some bright SPS specimens. Quote Link to comment

FishHeaded Posted December 1, 2007 Your BC14 was one of my favorite tanks ever, but I like this so much more. What are your plans for the biocube? Quote Link to comment
PurpleUP Posted December 1, 2007 debbeach, this is the EASIEST tank to keep clean. I take a glass scraper with a 2' extension and just scrape any sight of algae before it becomes a problem. None of the aquascaping touches the glass on any of the 4 sides, so I hardly have to be careful. The CUC does the rest! FishHeaded, thanks. In the end, the BC14 cost me so much more than a BC14 should. It's nice to know it'll be remembered, but the corals LIVE ON in this tank here! I've been thinking about the fate of the BC14, considering I didn't use any of the old gear, not even the old live rock or pumps. At this point, it will probably be used to "purple up" the rock for my next project. I've got a 10G and now my old BC14 full of it, so I plan on putting it to good use in a much larger setup. Maybe a 40 breeder? or 90G ADA overflow, but that wouldn't be nano would it. Quote Link to comment
