Nah I'm lazy, that and I kinda like it. I can see the skimmer through it. That and I can just squeeze my head behind it. I love looking at tanks a million different ways. When I was ten I had a freshwater tank that had no gravel on the bottom and was on a framed stand so I would sit underneath it for hours watching the fish swim around. (all the plants and decorations were weighted.) it was way cool.

this was my first reef setup almost to a t. i used 2 of those thin coralife t5 lights (think they were 2/34 w each) since the tank is so shallow it was crazy bright and i enjoyed great success w rics & zoos & a few other softies. lookin forward to seeing a new pic in the future. good luck
