Ok check out these babies! Finally made it over to a friends house to check out his tanks and he gave me these AWESOME zoas. They are tiny but honestly the prettiest ones I have EVER seen. Move over blues... The pic sucks and tomorrow I will post new ones of these frag and the others I got.

THANKS, I am totally in love with these and they are SOOOO metalic. You can stand 4 feet from the tank and thats the first thing you notice! I just figured out why my cam is taking such grainy pics lol. I read that the higher ISO the faster the shutter. I figured that would be what I wanted but now I have to wait till the open up again, had to pose em. So I will try a low ISO and see if that helps. I also got some got some 007, a few tubs blues, and some other REALLY cool ones. Will put up some pics hopefully not grainy, any advice on getting clear pictures? Its just a little cannon SD 600. Thanks

Those are really fantastic! I'd love to be added to a wait list for frags if that's at all possible!

Hi Helfrich's Chick,

Great Zoas! Just wanted to let you know that while it's true that the higher the ISO the faster the shutter speed, the ISO setting has more to do with the light sensitivity of the sensor in your camera. A higher ISO setting makes the sensor more sensitive to light, but also brings will bring a more grainy look to the pics as a result (some cameras do better with this than others). It is possible to use a much lower ISO setting in a dark situation, but it means that you need the camera to be on a tripod or some other platform that doesn't move as much as we do. Typically if we are very still, we can take a pic at 1/60 of a second and it will be ok. Any longer (i.e. 1/45, or 1/30, etc.) and there will be blur. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Regards,

Michael

THANKS!! I set it at 80 on my little camera and if I am steady it works great. I thought the higher ISO the better the clarity until I read the manual on it. Totally appreciate it! I will take more pics today and post them. I played last night and it definatly is less grainy. THANKS!
