avalanche1201 Posted January 19, 2007 that is the coolest tank i have ever seen Quote Link to comment
dannyboy Posted January 23, 2007 did you run the lights off of the built in timer? That would be pretty cool Quote Link to comment
Mr_G Posted February 2, 2007 I like the Particular placement of the name "SUNBEAM" right above the beam of "sun" light. very cool. I'd be affraid to wake up and be so groggy that I accidentally drank my reef. ha ha Quote Link to comment
10" Red Devil Posted February 3, 2007 I would accidentally drink it unfortunately! Eeew! Quote Link to comment
echo-bravo 4-19 Posted February 3, 2007 i did this once for a beta it was a lot of fun but yours looks so much mbetter lol good work! Quote Link to comment
supahtim Posted August 6, 2007 lol thanks for the comments everybody! i didn't realize so many people have noticed it... the lighting is just the one 10w screw in PC bulb, 50/50. and the filtration is all live rock with a TOM's nano dive powerhead. it has been taken down due to inverts dying and algae growing and the lack of time... but it shall be up again soon! Diskusting Posted August 6, 2007 not stable. Maybe I should go drop some rock in a beer bottle with an air stone and see how long it will last. dumb Quote Link to comment
zestay Posted August 7, 2007 i think with a little effort and a high end coffee pot. you could take a digital one and use the timers in it to turn the lights on and off for you. Quote Link to comment
13angels Posted August 7, 2007 i think i'll do something similar but for a betta that way i don't worry about filtration so much.... Quote Link to comment
bloodyworm Posted August 8, 2007 ha, beats going to starbucks.. how bout a closeup of the brew? Quote Link to comment
supahtim Posted September 12, 2007 thanks for the great comments everybody! it's setup again. i'll have new pics up soon and thanks diskusting. you're right, dumb does happen. i like how you spelled your name. it proves your point very well. hey, and maybe you can go and look at all the other pico tanks and post rude comments on their pictures too! because you know, some pico tanks are a lot more stable than others.
