Start of my first nano

Whats that big tube for? I am interested in making my own skimmer, what powers yours?

Yeah the tubes are out of place I will soon have them hid anyway the tube in front pumping the water from tank to the top of the skimmer its all just a gravity thing from there the pump is about an 100-120 GPH submersable pump its a little much but does a good job the skimmer acually came off my 30 gal so instead of it just sitting around I put it on my 10 it would work a lot better in a sump I think about the window it stays cover its raely open so I dont think algea will be a prob
