I took this picture at night holding an led flashlight over the tank. The color isn't too good, but I like it. Canon S2IS.

nice! i love it! arg, lol, im still confused over how to keep one, there not photosynthetic, but how much light do they still need?

0 light needed. They are not a photosynthetic coral. Most of the time they'll be closed during the day. Difficult coral to care for because they need muliple daily feedings to survive.

They dont need any light ..lol. Thus labled non-photosynthetic. It can be kept in pitch black conditions or highly lit areas, it just depends on you. Most people say that you should leave it out of the light because of algae but i've never had a problem with it.

I've been doing the "Pop Bottle" feeding method. Seems to work well. The polyps have been closed when the light is on, but I've heard you can "train" them to open during the day by timely feedings.

Natrate, definately agree with you. mine usually open at around 11PM for their daily feeding. thats the time i've been feeding them since i got them. i don't think they are that difficult to maintain as many people say.
