My Puffer Fish............

i always thought that puffers werent reef safe, do you have any problems with it nipping at your corals? what else do you have in that tank and how long have you kept the puffer?

Had him for 2 and a half years. I have some soft coral, Xenia and polyps. He leaves them alone.

Valentini are sweet. My buddy has a orange spot, leaves his corals alone, too! Not that I'm going to risk it. )

thats cool...my roomate has a stars and stripes and he eats everything thats put into the tank with him

it's a toby, not quite a normal puffer.

Thanks for the replies. I will try and get some better pictures of him but my photography skills are a little limited!!

I had one of those puffers for only 24 hours til I caught him bothering my clam. My clam never stayed open due to the puffer going after him with his nose. I was sad to have to get rid of him though. They are so cute.
