fishstick41
So I'm planing on building my first tank. I am wondering how to make a brace for the tank.... I am guessing all you have to do is put the same type of material on top and use a router to cut the parts of the top. Is this correct? Also I plan on using Acrylic for the tank and the dimension of the tank is 16Hx20Lx16W. Is using acrylic a good material to use or should I use glass? Thanks! Martin Link to comment
evilc66
Acrylic will be lighter than glass, but thicker. Its also more prone to scratches. Glass will be easier to assemble for your first try. As for bracing, you shouldn't need it for a tank that size if you use the right thickness of glass. Link to comment
