rbaby
Awesome tank setup--the scaping is also well done! My water isn't that high, I worry that if I stick my hand in there it'll overflow--is that an issue for you? If not, maybe I'll get my water capacity a bit higher Link to comment
dknydiep
I like to fill it right to the rim. I think it's how ADA tanks are meant to be displayed haha =P. I don't usually worry too much about overflowing. I just work slowly. The only time that I have to lower the level is when I'm scrubbing the tank. This will change though once I sell my other 60-F and move my MP10 into this tank. I'm going to miss filling to the rim. Link to comment
teamschreiba
I'm loving that light fixture man, it matches the tank and whole "ADA look" perfectly! Link to comment
dknydiep
Thanks dude! It was my intention to match the light with the tank. Here's an update. I started getting a bit of brown, hairlike algae. Added 3 Trochus (sp?) snails and they decimated the algae on the rocks/coral. I also added a fighting conch to move the sand around. I've just uploaded some pics, and will post them tomorrow. Link to comment
dknydiep
Current FTS as of 9/15/11 Grassy coral. ID? Newest addition, Duncan Coral. Looks great under 20k lighting. What is this? Is it a coral? I got it free with an equipment purchase. What is the name for this? Ninja Nightcrawlers Can you spot the trio of Sexy Shrimp? Nice Ricordia 'Yuma'. It's been really spreading out since I got it. Candy Apple What is the name of the coral on the left? It looks awesome when the tentacles come out. Right side Left side Really interested to find out what this is as well. The tentacles extend 2-3 inches at times! and just for fun, my freshwater planted tank with crystal red shrimp and babies. Fnard
I believe when I was looking at it, it was around $60 (bought mine used from another member) As far as contacting him, I remember reading a post a couple months ago about him helping out other NR members during his closure, but not 100% when it was and if he is still doing it. Give the search a try or may be under the sponsors forum Link to comment

dknydiep
It's been working ok. I think it's too tall for my tank. I'll probably make a similar, short version when I have time. Link to comment
dknydiep
Couple new pictures from today. The left side is filling in nicely. I'm looking to add more zoa's to the right side in the future. Maybe when my new blue/red/purp hornets grow, I'll move them from the frag piece over. Also added some nice rasta zoa's as well. Really nice looking zoa! FTS Left side Right side Trochus snail. They do a great job cleaning my glass and eating hair algae! Link to comment
