MGXsport
I have been searching around but I haven't been able to find what test kits do I need? what is the best brand? Is it possible to have them all be dipsticks to make it easy and not screw up mixing the chemicals? Thanks! Link to comment
kebin
I heard Salifert test kits are good...I am getting some next week..... Link to comment
Tempest
Salifert and Sera are excellent brands. You should probably get test kits for the follwing : ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, alkalinity (kh/dkh), calcium and magnesium. For the first 4 tests; Aquarium Pharmaceuticals tests should be alright (though the salifert and sera tests are better they are more expensive and you really don't need an exact measure on the first 3 tests because they should all read 0).
