Chromis
What are some reputable live rock and live sand dealers that will sell smaller amounts? Link to comment
Kapelakin
How small of an amount? www.gulf-view.com sells min of 10 pounds I think but for that amount, it would probably be better to just get it locally if you can. I was very pleased with the coralline rock I got from them. I think www.tbsaltwater.com also sells smaller amounts. Both of these are sources of farmed rock. Link to comment
HuBu
unless you are planning to buy a box, which is usually around 45# of LR. its wiser to buy from your LFS because even though LR is cheap online, the shipping and handling will probably even out. Link to comment
NaNO ReeFiN
And you'll be able to pick out the pieces of rock that you want from a LFS, instead of letting them pick for you. Link to comment
Christopher Marks
Check with premium aquatics on their minimum purchasing for live rock. I've heard great things about the quality of the rock. If their minimum quantity will work for your tank, then they're a good option. Link to comment
mysk
Sounds Funny but I have always used WorldWidePet Supply.com and have never had a problem with my rock Link to comment
Bunky Squid
I'm trying to get some more rock as well, and I'd rather not order. Anyone know any places in the Bay Area besides the Aquarium in Concord? Link to comment
