ssirishpride
On 2 of my larger astrea snails shells i have found what looks like a piece of sps coral growing on top. now before you call me crazy for asking hear me out. the only reason i would have even payed attention to this "growh" was the fact that it (the growth) apears to be sliming like an upset stoney does. keep in mind that we arn't talking about a frag or anthing on there, it's the size of a grain of rice. but i just thought i would ask if anyone has any ideas or has seen this before... let the name calling comense. c est ma
Do you see any polyps? (Perhaps that should be singular, at grain-of-rice size!) Link to comment
Reef Gator
suppressive fire, If you're not going to be helpful or grammatically correct do NOT post. ;P ssirishpride, It's probably not sps. It is much more likely to be a barnicle, fanworm, algae (coralline - live or dead), or sponge. Link to comment
