XtremeSport
Anyone have a picture of these. I have about 6 small clear/white looking shrimp in my tank. Also why are they considered bad? Jay Link to comment
Rocket_155
People consider them bad because they tend to kill fish, or break the aquariums glass and attack and break heaters. they can be kept in a species specific tank (ie only 1 in a tank of it's own). HTH Link to comment
jojopus
what youre probably seeing are more than likely amphipods. Do a search on www.google.com for 'grammarius' and see if thats what you have. HTH. Link to comment
duckhuntboy
This is my pet mantis. Mantis shrimp can be all colors, but if they aren't this general shape, they aren't mantis shrimp. Link to comment
duckhuntboy
Also, I might add that mantis shrimp will scurry as fast as you can follow them with your naked eye... if your clear/white shrimp arent running from the sight of you, they also aren't mantis shrimp... The come about 1 1/2 inches long as the norm. Link to comment
Bucket o Chum
If there clear and white they could be oppossum shrimp. Link to comment
