JimFitz66
I read that Kenya Tree Coral (Capnella) doesn't rely entirely on light to obtain its food and needs to be fed additional supplement food...I'm unclear on what to feed this coral...Can anyone suggest what I might be able to pick up at my local fish store to feed the coral Thanks Link to comment
Dave ESPI
seafood puree` and some Marc Weis coral vital works well for me. and they do like light too. most the nutrients are absorbed through their membraines in the water Link to comment
GPCRalph
Aside from supplementation and light, I dose my tank with DT's Phytoplankton. My Kenyan trees have been doing great. I even fragged it a few times. Once it's in the right spot in the tank and open it is a pretty hardy fast growing coral. Hope that helps Ralph Link to comment
JimFitz66
The problem was too much flow over the coral. I turned down my power heads a bit and placed in in an area that gets no direct flow and it is expanding beautifully now....Thanks for the suggestions! Link to comment
freakaccident
Is this the same coral that is called "Green Tree"? Link to comment
