15 Gallon Pulmbing with Plan...How is it?

I am setting up at 15 gallon with a 29 gallon sump, fuge. Please take a look at my plan and let me know what you think. Some things i am not sure of are

-Which Return Pump?

-What size pipe to use for the stand Pipe?

I saw on Durso's page he says to

uses 1 1/4 for a 1 inch bulk head,

but i dont know if it matters since

it is the external type

-Does the overflow box have to be any

bigger than just big enough to take out

the bulkhead if needed?

-Would a center box be better, or a

triangle shaped one?

-How many return bulkheads (2 or 3)and

what size?

If it starts out as 3/4 inch at the

pump and its Teed to two 1/2

inch bulkheads will that be good

flow?

or

3/4 inch teed to two 1/2 inch and

then one of the 1/2inch teed to to

1/4 inch bulkhead(i think thats

too much splitting)

Lastly, what do you think over all, what should i change?

for small setups you can just stay with mag/danners, probably Mag 2 or 3 (depending on the gph you want). i don't think you need an external pump (save the addt'l drilling of the sump).

for the output pipe i'd go with 1" at least. right now i went with 3/4" and kinda regret it. i may change 1" in the future. not sure what you mean on the box size but future access is a very important (and often overlooked) factor.

location of the overflow should meld with your planned aquascape. e.g. central coral bommie/mountain for a center box, reef cliff/drop-off for corner, semi-spur and groove valley for dual corners, and so on.

piping should be uniform for good flow otherwise you're building internal 'head pressure' but it can be done regardless.

one suggestion, you could change the tee to a SCWD to get alternating currents. hth
