seabass Posted June 13, 2003 Share Posted June 13, 2003 I couldn't understand why I couldn't get my Nitrates down by repeated water changes; they kept on testing at 5 to 25ppm. I've been using Wal-Mart's self-serv Culligan RO water system ($0.33 a gal). Then it occurred to me to test my RO water, and sure enough it tested in the 10 to 50ppm range.X) Lesson learned, RO does not mean that it's good to use for a reef. Link to comment
