OMG, I have a detailed diagram I made as my longterm plan for my impending tank (Thanksgiving). Now I have a picture of it! Live stock, colors, rock work, all very close to my "ideal." Only diff would be ricordia instead of hammer (?) and some trumpet, too.

Also, yours is the first blue background tank I've really liked.

Great job!

Thanks !! I am still messing with the new camera.

I will post some better pics soon. Acoustic.....I dont

know how you do it. Your pics are great, make mine

look rookie. I am using a Canon A300, 3 million pix,

what do you use ?.

pj,

Looking good man. I really like the arch in your rockwork, and the Zooanthids. mmmm Zooanthids. Do you scrape the back of the tank to keep it so clean? At 3 months ours had lots of coralline growth and lots of little dusters on the back. Now the back of our tank is basically Live Glass.

What kind of small clams do you have in there?

Good job,

Gil

ps. The tomato clown will outgrow the tank (In case you didn't already know.)

Hey Gil

Thanks for the input. I only scrape the front and sides.

I am hoping for some more coralline growth. The 1st

sign is a pink spec on my intake tube so hopefully soon.

I am using Bi-ionic to boost my calcium a bit so that

might help. Ya the clown was a girlfriend thing,

Timmy The Tomato, give me a break, but she likes him.

I might have to trade him if he gets to big.

Gil I wanted to ask you how you get such a nice mat

of zoos on the right side of your tank? I am having

a hell of a time finding some nice small frags that

I can piece together. Did you just buy a few small

frags and they grew like that?

pj,

The method I used to get coverage on the right side of the tank was to glue down frags (using Zap Gel) to the main rockwork, and then waiting for them to spread out onto the rockwork. We have around 7 different types that have done alot of spreading since added months ago. Now the entire right side of the tank is covered in zooanthids!

You are definitely on the right track man.

Gil

ps. bwaaahahaha @ timmy the tomato. Classic!
