ucsd reefer
While doing a water change today, found this clinging onto the intake pipe of my HOB. Good or bad nudi? It looks kinda cool actually, when it opens up a little the inner tissue is a flourescent green So what should I do w/ him guys? He's in a plastic baggie for now. -Mike Link to comment

onthefly
How big? I had a couple of small ones....like 3-4mm......they always seem to be chowing on algae.......There are bad ones thought, so keep an eye on them! Link to comment
ucsd reefer
Its probably around 1" long. He was chowin on algae when I found him. You guyz think I should jus toss him back in? -Mike Link to comment
MrKrispy
see if it turns green after a week of chowing on algae, if it is a lettuce wouldn't it be okay as long as it doesn't turn to impeller food? Otherwise I thought nudis aren't such a hot item in nano's... Link to comment
onthefly
I say put him back, we need all the algea eaters we can get! At an inch long, you should be able to spot him if he does begin to cause some havoc......yank him! Link to comment
ucsd reefer
I tossed him back in last nite and he just floated around a bit then disappeared into my LR. Hopefully he doesn't cause any problems. Looking at his body closely you can see that its lightly layered w/ a flourescent green color and he was chowing on algae when I found him so I think it should be cool. I'm going to be watching my zoos w/ a hawkeye for now though.. -Mike Link to comment
surfy
Yeah, I just pulled about 40 more baby nudie's off my zoo's, damn things. They seem to do very well in my tank. I have also found many nudi egg sacks on my zoo's. Link to comment
